A NEW TAKE ON SIGHT AND SOUND
Students are the Royal College of Art have built Eidos, a
headset that augments sight and sound through the use of
real-time sensory equipment. Images are played back more
slowly similar to long exposure photography, while the
auditory headset portion neutralizes white noise. - PSFK

Facebook has introduced a new comments feature being
applauded by many users. Comments have now be sorted by
time or activity rather than most popular being pushed to the

A FLASHLIGHT THAT YOU POWER
A 15-year old student named Ann Makosinski from Victoria,
British Columbia designed a flashlight powered by the heat of
the human hand. Using thermodynamically efficient material
including Peltier tiles, the light only requires a five degree
temperature difference in order to light up and is a finalist in
this year’s Google Science Fair. Hђ
