WHAT INSPIRED YOU DECIDE TO GO OUT ON YOUR OWN AND START A BUSINESS?
The birth of my daughter. I realized all of the inner demons that I had faced with self acceptance
and body image issues needed to be dealt with in a proactive approach. I have to show her how
to live a healthy lifestyle.
WHAT CURRENT SERVICES DOES YOUR BUSINESS OFFER?
FitHart offers individual plans, group training, and personal training. I specialize in long distance
running, babywearing fitness and strength training.
HOW ARE YOUR PASSIONS BEING PURSUED THROUGH YOUR CAREER?
I feel a sense of satisfaction when I cross a marathon finish line, likewise when I am able to coach
someone to obtain a physical fitness goal that they thought was impossible. There is great pride
in helping people achieve their goals; and that is especially for those who think that some goal is
not achievable and you help them obtain it.
WHAT ARE SOME KEYS THINGS YOU’VE LEARNED IN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF STARTING A BUSINESS?
You can’t be afraid to take risks or ask for help. Be committed & dedicated, love what you do.
WHAT LOCAL OPPORTUNITIES ARE OUT THERE FOR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING A HEALTHIER LIFE?
Every weekend Milwaukee has local races that you can participate in. The Milwaukee area
has multiple organizations such as Badgerland Striders, Silver Circle Sports, Fleet Feet, Hike
It Baby, and Moms Run This Town.
WHAT ARE SOME TRAINING, RUNNING, HEALTH, ETC TIPS GOING INTO THE SPRING SEASON?
