BROTHERS CONSOLIDATED HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING
The motto... willingness to put the customer first in everything we do.
When you first enter Brothers Consolidated Heating & Air Conditioning at 11421 W Saint
Martins Road in Franklin, you see an old picture showing a Candy Clerk at an antique cash
register helping a 4 year old girl pick out the candy she wants. The caption under the picture
reads, “What separates true customer satisfaction from mere lip service is the willingness
to put the customer first in everything we do.” After a conversation with the owners
Bill & Dennis Hankins, who are brothers, you get a clear sense that they definitely believe
customer service comes first. “Our number one priority has been to grow the business by
word of our customers and to do that you have to deal honestly with them and respect the
fact that they have worked hard for their money. So, for estimates on new equipment you
listen to what they are telling you, what they hope to achieve, then give them the best option
to satisfy all their needs and let them decide on which way they want to go” says Dennis.
“Our Service Technicians believe in this same approach when servicing equipment. If
repairs are needed they will discuss with the customer diagnosis, the repair cost, and if the
repair is costly - make recommendations along with options, always letting the customer
decide what they would like to do” he added. Sales or Service, customers are never
pressured into making a decision.
Consolidated has been satisfying their
customers for over 47 years. This past year,
Owner Steve Olson and his wife Kathy
decided to retire. Dennis (40 years of HVAC
experience) and his brother Bill (35 years
of HVAC experience) decided that this was
the perfect fit for them, so they purchased
the business and added the name
“Brothers” to Consolidated.
