Bless the state of Israel , our people ’ s homeland , This nation of patchwork and jumble . Color the ancient earth in the shades of men and women . Cause holy melodies to vibrate amidst these broken walls , And let us sing in all our native voices .
Release from slavery those who dwell within — The righteous and the wicked , The pure and the sinful , The dark and the fair , The Arab and the Jew .
Make our harmonies resound From the banks of the Lyre to the Middle-Earth Sea , And may all who dwell in this land Bathe in the waters of peace .
