benchmarks are right about where one would expect them to be as well , well beyond what would qualify as a high end gaming machine in 2017 .
There ’ s absolutely no reason why the CORSAIR ONE in this configuration could not easily handle any title for years to come . It is , for all intents and purposes , an overpowered machine and most of this power will remain unused for years to come still . As such , barring the need to play exclusively 4K titles , this is the kind of machine that will make it unnecessary to consider any upgrades ( other than perhaps storage ) for years on end - this is , of course , a good thing .
BUILD QUALITY Regardless of how one feels about CORSAIR , being cheap isn ’ t something I ’ d level at the company . From peripherals to components and of course , now PCs . Build quality is something CORSAIR has been steadily improving upon and I ’ d wager that the brand power is based on this constant attempt to improve the quality of the products or at the very least the perception of quality .
The CORSAIR ONE is no different and , it is fitting that this PC only came into being once CORSAIR had worked to improve its materials and component selection . Had this machine been attempted back when CORSAIR had problems with dying LEDs on their keyboards and such , perhaps this machine would not be have been so well received . I for one would have been weary as the last thing you ’ d want is to have any part ceasing to function for no apparent reason . PC components do need replacement and they will incur faults for any number of reasons , but it ’ s good to know that the odds of that are significantly reduced with the CORSAIR ONE .
Built from aluminum and steel , the CORSAIR one is literally built like a tank . This is not to say that one should be dropping it from dizzying heights , but it is certainly designed and machined in a better way than the vast majority of cases from CORSAIR ( at least prior to their foray into tempered glass cases etc .).
Inside the chassis everything is packed tightly , but securely . CORSAIR provides detailed instructions on how to disassemble the machine ; however I ’ d avoid this if possible . Not because it is difficult by any means , but via my own experience - once you start fidgeting with a PC once , you ’ ll never stop and you ’ ll never quite put it back together the way it was from the factory .
Moreover , part of the reason why you buy such a machine is precisely so you don ’ t have to get involved in the nuts and bolts of it all . It ’ s been put together in the tightest and neatest possible way . Its “ nice ” that CORSAIR provides a guide on how to pull the system apart , but I ’ d caution against such an attempt as there ’ s absolutely nothing to be gained .
