SNIKT! We’re gonna
Ninja your brain this issue!
Hey everybody, we’re back and we’d like to wish
you all a fantastic new year. 2011 is sure turning
out to be an interesting year. We wonder about
the OC competitions, given that they are almost
always done to promote each respective companies
latest product range and platform, how would said
companies go about setting up competitions for the
Intel’s P67 platform?
It would be rather strange to
have air coolers all around
and no doubt I would hardly
be called exciting. Anyway,
all we can do is wait and see,
who knows if AMD delivers on
its promises we may very well
be back overclocking on AMD
systems forcing benchmarks
to run on non-existent cores
and such. (“ah” the good old
days, well not really but it’s
nice to say that)
Upon putting together this
issue, we had a discussion
and it dawned on us that
despite the travesty that was
the movie Ninja Assassin,
by and Large Ninjas are cool
people and no other Ninja is
Xxxxxxxxxx
as cool as Michael Dudikoff.
The legend who just couldn’t
stop making Ninja movies
and who may just have had
an addiction at throwing
shurikens and other deadly
weapons at people’s soft
parts. There is clear evidence
of this in American Ninja 4,
where he adorns himself
in a bright yellow Ninja suit
possibly as an experiment
to see if people could accept
Ninja’s as non threatening
Sesame Street affiliated
members of society.
It is in light of this that we
have dedicated this issue to
all Ninja’s before and those
4 The OverClocker February 2011
who may come, but most
of all it is dedicated to the
unsung hero that was Mr.
Dudikoff who brought us the
same movie repeatedly under
different and awe inspiring
names such as Avenging
Force and American Ninja
1 through to 4. We salute
you here at TheOverclocker
and it is because of this that
we were motivated to make
Issue 13 our best yet, because
you never know who may be
lurking behind a GIGABYTE
Northbridge heatsink waiting
to pwn you in a personal and
Extreme fashion.
Here’s Issue 13 for you, drop
us a line if you have a Ninja
story to share, it’d be good to
hear from you. Enjoy!
