First Light Pavilion at Jodrell Bank
Electrosonic played a pivotal role in bringing the First Light Pavilion to life, offering a full suite of technical solutions— from technology design consulting and build & system integration to AV and control system design, network infrastructure, CAD / BIM modeling, installation, commissioning, programming and project management Working closely with creative partners, Electrosonic engineered a stunning projection-mapped experience using 15 reclaimed“ shards” of the original Lovell Telescope. They precisely positioned 17 projectors, orchestrated complex layering and control of video servers, interactive exhibits, and special effects to reveal a seamless“ Radio Sky” across concave surfaces in the pavilion’ s domed ceiling. This immersive environment, combining interactivity with cinematic presentation, was so exceptional it earned Electrosonic the“ Best Museum Project” award at the Commercial Integration Awards.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi
At Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, Electrosonic served as the technology designer and integrator of all park-wide audiovisual, media and show control systems. Working with an amazing group of partners, Electrosonic delivered complete systems spanning audio, video, networks, special effects, projection studies and control infrastructure— covering 164 projectors, 91 LED displays, 126 media servers and 1,849 speakers. Central to Electrosonic’ s solution was the implementation of a virtual control platform integrated, enabling centralized, web-based management of attractions— turning systems on / off, scheduling shows, monitoring operations and responding to issues efficiently and automatically. Electrosonic also supported the massive Cinema Spectacular Show, which features 37 projectors and over 160 speakers to create the world’ s largest permanent indoor projection show. Electrosonic’ s work at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi earned recognition as“ Themed Entertainment Project of the Year” at the AV Awards.
