Clockwork Dog Powers The Traitors Live Immersive Experience
Clockwork Dog has developed a powerful show control system for the live version of The Traitors in London’ s Covent Garden. Using their COGS platform, they created an actor-driven narrative that adapts in real-time, delivering a dynamic and immersive experience. The setup is a custom interface on actor-operated tablets. This allows the host to control pacing, react to group decisions, and tailor each performance. The COGS platform connects every element, from front-of-house onboarding and group management to lighting, sound, and video cues. To enhance interactivity, COGS hardware is integrated directly into the round tables. Players cast secret votes and solve puzzles using rotating“ moons,” with inputs processed instantly to keep the environment responsive and alive. The system also manages the multi-room attraction, supporting up to eight tables and a queuing system for the Traitors Tower. It automates camera and microphone feeds while assisting staff with drink service, player movement, and rig checks. Post-show, it captures data for leaderboards, the official website, and future prize draws.“ The system was designed for maximum flexibility,” said Sam Lee, Technical Solutions Engineer.“ New COGS features let us handle the unique demands of a live show every time.” Clockwork Dog has also powered Taskmaster Live, The Paddington Bear Experience, Monopoly Lifesized, and Bridge Command.
