Make time for yourself: If you can’t get a whole day off, make sure you regularly make time for yourself. Perhaps join a club or something where you have to take an evening off at least once a week. 2. Show clear leadership: Taking true control of your business is so important and can make you feel great. It’s your business so don’t be afraid to make it do what you want it to do. 3. Daydream about what success looks like: When you achieve the goals you are currently trying to work towards, what will it look like? How will it feel? Might sound a little silly, but it really can help to focus your mind. 4. Keep work life and home life separate: This is important whether you work at home or have business premises. Find ways to make a clear distinction between your personal life and your work life. Even a simple change of clothes could do it. 5. Do something different: Feeling a 4 little bored with your business? Then try something new. Try a different way of doing something. You never know, you might find away of doing something that’s even better than you do it now. 6. Try harder: Sometimes when you do the same things week in week out, you forget to try your hardest as ‘routine madness’ kicks in. Education can be inspiring and can fire off many new ideas. 8. Seize an opportunity: As business owners we see opportunity almost every day. Most of the time it’s right to ignore it. But now and again, when an opportunity comes along that makes you excited.... grab it and have fun with it. Even if it’s not core to your business it could be a good distraction to keep your spirits high. 9. Take action: When something needs to be done in your business, just do it. A good trick is to make your first job the one you’re least looking forward to and then it’s out of the way! 10. Take a reality check: You can’t control things that happen to you. But you can control your reactions. Bad things come along as sure as good things.
