Essential Feature Corsica Corsica is a beautiful island just over 2 hour flight from Manchester - a French island basking in the Italian Sun writer Balzac once described it. Coastal towns, quiet villages and National Park make up Corsica The National Park is approximately a third of the island and boasts the highest mountains and rivers of all Mediterranean islands. Spend time exploring the picturesque marinas where luxurious yachts moor overnight - sit and have a cocktail watching the sunset over the harbour. The island is an ideal place for walking, cycling, water sports, canoeing, for more adventurous why not try Ferratas (iron roads) which are mountain routes equipped with fixed cables, ladders, ramps and bridges. Direct flights from regional airports, transfers to your accommodation or why not hire a car and explore the local area.
