Skull of saber-toothed cat found almost
complete
When we first discovered the
saber-toothed cat, this animal
remained a mystery. But this new
discovery will reveal many secrets
about this mystery animal. In May
2015, the third skull of the saber-
toothed cat was found.
This famous skull was found in
Schöningen. He is characterized as a
Long claws, razor-sharp, curved
canine teeth fully grown lion. This
skull reflects the shape and structure
of the Homotherium brain. And
therefore, we can gain insights into
the visual and hearing abilities as
well as the feeding habits of the large
cats.
We assume that this big cat first
appeared 500,000 years ago and they
were instinct around 200,000 years
later.
Since it is possible to discover
some of the many abilities of the
saber-toothed cat, is it possible that
we use his DNA (from the skull) to
bring this animal back to life? Is it
going to be dangerous? Is it going to
be helpful? These type of question
never end here because this cat
remains a mystery.
