EDITOR’S NOTE
Give yourself a Gift; Do what makes you comfortable do
what makes your heart sing.
I like hot chocolate, especially with marshmallows. It’s my comfort drink. I se-
cure time - my time, at home, away from my children and just indulge – getting
lost in the taste, and oh how my heart sings with each taste. This is how I unwind
and let my hair down. This is one of the ways as a woman, as a mother, as a wife,
as a mentor, that I get really comfortable …because life is made up of highs and
lows. It is here today and tomorrow it can often so unfortunately be gone. I truly
believe this and so while I recognize that even though the chocolate might not
necessarily be the best choice at all times, it is my choice and I have it because it
brings me comfort in a way that nothing else does. It is me giving myself a small
gift and as women we need to do that from time to time. We need to carve out time
to cherish ourselves and love ourselves and share moments and wonderfulmem-
ories with ourselves that bring us the comfort that help turn lowdays into highs.
In this issue we have many gift ideas for loved ones as well as we feature a phe-
nomenal woman Diana Morgan-Burgess Executive Consultant, with the JMMB
Group who will give to us the many gifts contained in her story of hope, love, for-
giveness, perseverance and so much more. We also feature the Hugh Wynter Fer-
tility Management Clinic that helps couples with the gift of life, a very informative
feature you would not want to pass over. Of course we have our usual features on
health, investment, lifestyle and many other tips especially to help with making
this season more enjoyable. We thank you as always for sharing in our journey as
we become the voice to the voiceless and give hope to so many who are in need.
As always we look forward to your comments which we will share in other
issues. Most of all I continue to encourage you to look out for number one,
and as we enter this season of giving, I encourage all women to not only give
to others but this time around to give to yourselves. Understand the signals
your soul sends you; find that thing that brings to you that which your soul
desires, find comfort in truly enjoying that which you desire in the precise mo-
ment you’re enjoying it. Get in tune with the Creator – God, because at the
end of the day, it is when we truly become who we were created to be that
we will understand that all we live and breathe, and enjoy, comes from him.
