It is said that a gift is enjoyed twice, once by the
giver and next by the person receiving the gift. It’s
a tradition all around the world to give and receive
gifts at Christmas. As early as late November, mil-
lions of dollars will be spent buying gifts for loved
ones. If you are like me Christmas is considered
the most magical time of the year, when hearts are
softened and love abounds. There just seems to be
magic in the air.
It is that one time of the year that I can always be
found online clicking away and spending hours
trolling the malls, looking for that perfect gift for
the many names on my list. In the last few years
however, my list has gotten shorter and shorter due
to the rising cost associated with gift giving. Maybe
I am more disappointed than the persons on my
list, but after turning up without the expected gift
once too often I decided to look at more cost-effec-
tive ways to fill the many gift bags, without cutting
any names from my list and most importantly
sticking to my budget.
Cutting down on holiday spending doesn’t mean
you have to cut people from your gift list. Here I
will show you 4 inexpensive ways to fill your stock-
ings, and you can do this yourself!
