As an attorney , Michelle is passionate about helping individuals without status in the United States gain legal status . She lends her expertise in assisting individuals going through divorce to get to an amicable place . As a mother herself , Michelle believes that children should not be casualties in a divorce battle . She helps to guide parents to put children first when they are going through a divorce or timesharing . Michelle gives back to the community by providing pro bono legal advice to individuals .
Originally from Trelawny , Jamaica , Michelle lends herself to the advancement of the Jamaican diaspora and serves as Vice-Chair of the Jamaica Diaspora Taskforce Action Network . In 2019 , Michelle was a candidate for the Global Jamaica Diaspora Council for Southern United States . She has been a panelist on conferences geared to further the cause of the Jamaican Diaspora .
When she is not helping individuals meander through the legal arena , Michelle is wife to Daniel and mother to Hadrian . She is not quite the Celine Dion or Whitney Houston , but the attorney by day loves to sing . She is either belting out melodies and tunes , reading , or dancing . Michelle is the host of Legal Talk with Michelle Fanger , a talk show which aims to provide answers to legal questions . She uses this platform as well as her YouTube channel to provide legal information .
Along her journey to becoming the person she is today ; Michelle has picked up some important lessons :
