LaToya Mcleary was born in the picturesque seacoast town of Buff Bay , located in the beautiful parish of Portland , Jamaica . Her great sense of style and love for fashion emerged from an early age . Latoya started modeling in Kingston , Jamaica at the age of fifteen , where she appeared in multiple fashion shows . LaToya ' s horizons were set on the international fashion scene , and she later moved to New York City . She enrolled at the International Style Institute , where she was taught fashion styling by the famed celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson . In 2015 after much success on the fashion scene , she launched her styling and fashion management company LaToya Mc Inc with offices in New York , Los Angeles , and now expanding to London .
