Heiress Narrative’
(The Baker Family)
Backstory:
Amy Baker is a young and beautiful 25-year-old heiress who inherits her wealth from her
family’s political background. She was born and raised in the Old Portsmouth, Hampshire,
England. She was born in 1818 along with her two younger brothers age of 15 and 20, her mother
married the Lord of Portsmouth who works directly under Queen Victoria as her trusted
ambassador of Portsmouth. The Baker family lives as a well-educated, mature and well-mannered
family, everyone but Amy, she never liked the idea of being controlled and observed, but she was the
more outgoing, wild and loud woman who believe that fun is more important than anything. At this
age, the Heiress is no longer under the parent’s guardian and she is now considered as a grown woman
who is ready to discover the world in her ways.
Amy Baker’s goal is to find the love of her life naturally.
On Wednesday 25th of March 1843, she celebrated her birthday at the local tavern called “The
Bell” as a wild child she partied wildly with groups of good-looking men. Amy Baker is a
smooth-skinned lady with the body of an hourglass that men tremble over her, in many envious girl’s
eyes she is seen as an eyesore and a maneater. However, in the men’s eyes, she is seen as a piece of
eye candy. As the clock strikes midnight, she had caught eyes of three different men.
The first man that she caught attention is Johnathon Westover he is 29 years old; he works for the
Police Force of the United States of America she found him charming but quite creepy at the same
time, he likes to play tennis, swimming and archery. However, there is a dark side on Johnathon, he
was suspended from the workforce for 4 months due to misuse of authority, guns violence and drug
use, however he has spent 100 hours of rehab curing his inner sin.
The second man that she encounters later on the day, is a 32-year-old Matthew Hannigan, he is a High
school teacher who enjoys reading, writing poems and wine tasting. He is known to be a hopelessly
romantic when it comes to woman. He was once married to high school beauty, but sadly she passed
away from a car accident. Mrs Baker was fond of him due to his complexion and his charming ways,
However, despite his charms, there is a dark side of Matthew that Amy does not know. Matthew was
once caught having an affair with the “girl next door”.
The final man Mrs Baker had her eyes on is 30 years old Nathaniel Edward, he is an accountant who
works in a multinational bank of England and he is an expert on wine tasting. He enjoys exotic holidays
and prefers alone time with his dates. However, he has a dark secret that he left unravelled. He likes to
play hard to get and he is also
sensitive and a romantic, in his mind he always gets his ways.
Is there true love? Or are they after her wealth... after discovering the body of Amy Baker it is up to the
audience to answer a question at the end of the act.....
