Users
Though the client are Kings Theatre and Portsmouth City Council,
however the project the main users are the performers of Kings
Theatre and possibly for independant actors/actresses who has a
passion in drama and theatre.The purpose of creating ‘Theatre
Hotel’ is to create more careers opportunity for the community of
perfomring arts at the same time giving the city of Portsmouth a
second institution to welcome more visitors into the city.
The ‘Theatre Hotel’ is a place that offers immersive theatre
experience by actors given to the visitors with many different
scenarios and narratives to explore. This project aims to bring
visitors and perfomers together to build a new generation of
theatre experience by interacting with the perfomers and be part of
the narrative.
