recipes Strawberry ice lolly This is not as sweet as the two above, but it is for the real strawberry lovers. Blend a handful of strawberries with a teaspoon of honey diluted in a spoon of warm water and a quarter of a cup of apple juice. You can mix it with yoghurt or ice cream, too. Homemade ice lolly mould If you do not have ice lolly moulds, make your own using small plastic or cardboard cups. First pour the mix into each cup, cover with foil and insert a plastic spoon through the centre of the foil. Slush puppies If you prefer slush puppies to ice lollies, pour the fruit mixes mentioned above into a plastic or paper cup and freeze. Take out about half an hour before eating. Iced up Have fun at parties by freezing herbs in ice cubes. Not only does it look pretty but also by matching the herb ice cube to the right drink, you will create a more floral tasting drink. 1. Rosemary, lavender and thyme ice cubes go well with soda, gin and tonic, and white wine. 2. Mint ice cubes go well with Coke, water, Pimms and a mojito. 3. Basil ice cubes go well with a vodka, lime juice and ginger beer mix. Thank you Thank you to Asher at Kisses for Jack for allowing us to do our photo shoot at her beautiful shop. 43
