The Annual Garden Show
The enjoyable Annual Garden Show took place for the second time at The Wild Geese Lodge,
a perfect setting for a show that inspired all gardeners
Even though it was the start of the
sweltering summer heat, there was
a fantastic turnout for the second
Annual Garden Show. Nurseries,
landscapers and other exhibitors
put on an array of beautiful displays.
Lindsay Charters and Robyn Whaley,
with their friends and family, worked
hard to put together a show of such
a high standard that gave everyone
a weekend full of entertainment,
networking and inspiration.
The Husqvarna Design
Competition
The main attraction of the show was
the Husqvarna Design Competition,
where the theme focused on how to
brighten up an unused area in the
garden. The winners for the show were:
1. Best on Show: Charles Waters with
Running Dogs Nursery
2. Best Wildlife Garden: Simply
Seedlings Nursery
3. Most Innovative Use of Space:
Garden Guru Landscaping with
Emerald Seedlings Nursery
4. Best Plant on Show: John Hibbert of
FloraZim Nursery

Food Growing Competition
The inspiration for this section of The
Annual Garden Show was the plight
of Martha, a woman whose large
family live in Epworth in a single room
