How do you work up the patience to do a slow shutter photoshoot? How long do you normally spend when you go out to photograph a typical water scenery? It’s not very hard to be patient when you enjoy what you’re doing and spending time in interesting places. I enjoy the surrounding atmospheres or I have someone with me to have a nice talk between the exposures. The time I spend on one image varies greatly. Sometimes I arrive at the perfect moment to take a picture or two, knowing after just 30 Minutes that it is already how it’s supposed to be. Very often, however, it takes more or less the whole day to come up with one or two good pictures that fit my perception. Sometimes I even have to come back another time in a different light or weather to make the image how I want it to be. The exposure-times also vary quite a bit, between a few seconds and about one hour. © Uwe Langmann http://www.uwelangmann.com/
