How carefully do you analyse a scene for
your artworks? What do you look for and
what excite you in a scene?
I don’t “analyse” very much, I have an image
in mind and when I see something that can
be used to create this image, I feel the urge
to photograph it. Most of the times I look for
small details that show a sense of human
intervention or a sign of human existence
in the surrounding landscapes. Those little
details I try to present in a rather uncommon
way so that they become like metaphors for
certain feelings and/or atmospheres that I
would like to express in my images.
How do you see the abstract in every day
life? How do you block out the ordinary and
everything else?
I tend to have a very clear sense of what kind
of structures or objects I want for a particular
image, so it’s not very hard to ignore the
surroundings. It’s harder for me to find the
perfect objects and the fitting places where
it can be photographed in the way I imagined
it.
