What are some of your memorable
achievements up to date? And why?

What are other achievements that you
are aiming for?

Winning the National Geographic
photo essay award, the 2010 Travel
Photographer of the Year award, The
Lucie award for the Discovery of the
Year in 2007, and the B&W Spider
Award for Documentary work last year.
It gives me a sense that my work has
an impact to my peers and they liked it
enough to vote for it.

I hope to continue my work with some
of the NGO’s that my wife and I are
presently working with to try to make a
small difference in someone’s life. As for
photography achievements, they will
come when they will – we are not really
aiming for achievement. Photography
is just a real passion of mine.
