Was it difficult to see the world as moving
elements? Was it useful to already have
developed an artistic eye of seeing the world?
What adaptions did you have to make to move
into videography?
I had no problem in adapting into moving
pictures, in fact I still do both in my shooting
mix. The only real difference is to keep a strong
hold on the story board when shooting video,
this helps with the flow and consistency in the
story telling process.
it’s a matter of time to become familiar with the
features and capabilities.
I have lost track of how many times people
have asked me “ Wow…this is great ….what
type of camera do you use “
The camera is only as good as the operator.
Let’s be honest…if we go out for dinner at a
great restaurant…how many times do we ask
what type of oven the food was cooked in ????
I am a firm believer that a background in stills
photography has really helped me in the video
side. Like with any new camera or products,
