1. Sally Karago
She is one of the top Kenyan fashion
veterans. Mcensal Fashion House, 1992,
her fashion brand, is inspired by
contemporary Africa. She incorporates
the Maasai blanket and Kikoi very well.
In 2009, Sally opened the Mcensal
Fashion School to teach fashion. In
2014, She added a brand, SK, a
collection for everyone, from clothes, to
accessories and to handbags. she
boasts of awards like The Smirnoff
Awards Kenya in 1993. She is currently
the chair of Association of Fashion
Designers Kenya which incorporates
The Annual Safari Fashion.
3.Yvonne Odhiambo .
Yvonne Afrostreset is her fashion brand that
she made in 2012.She has dressed
celebrities like Yemi Alade and the entire
Coke Studio band. She has also dresses Big
Brother Africa contestants from Kenya,
Melvin Alusa and Sabina Stadler in 2014.
2.Wambui Mukenyi 4. Nick Ondu
She owns a label from 2009 under her
name. She custom makes African
bridal wear. She is self taught and
draws her inspo from Africa. " Tujiangalie, tuko pabaya leo kuliko jana,
sikio la kufa..." He is the man behind the
smiles of the famous Sauti Sol. In January
2010 he started the Nick Ondu Sartorial.
