Who is Kawesa Clinton?
Simple, humble, hard-working; I'm a
workaholic by the way.
God fearing, I know people don't believe it
but I put God first in everything I do.
I had a rough year and I just look up and
say it's been God that I'm here today.
What does Fashion Coaching entail?
It is an art of teaching fashion basically
and the fashion industry is broad from
Fashion photography to stylists, designers,
models.. I focus mostly on stylists and the
models.
I teach runway techniques and designing
and styling techniques. But for the CK
academy, i teach runway and styling,the
rest will teach make up , design and so on
Is CK your dream?
Yes , I have always dreamt of having
something that deals with Fashion. I
didn't know I'd have something like
this when I was younger but i wanted
to be somewhere like this.
What do your fans anticipate from
you 2020?
How did CK come about?
It has been a long journey since 2014.
Personally I have done this for the last 6
years . I was signed for City Models Africa
as a commercial and runway model. I was
there until 2016 when I terminated my
contract and went ahead to start my
fashion academy which was then known
as Runway Africa. It was based in
Dagoretti. I was teachky refugees because
I was working with an NGO called Street
Talent Africa just to give back to the
community. Some were from South
Sudan, Burundi and Rwanda. That's where
my passion for coaching grew more and
more. I believe once you teach, whatever
you teach lives longer.
We are looking forward to Launching
different branches of CK which are ;
CK magic (photography)
CK market (online market)
CK management agency ( from
academy to an agency of events
together with mother company
(Royal Dreams Entertainment)
What would you say about your
31st event?
Unbelievable, God's grace and so
emotional. I didn't believe what we
achieved in such a short time. There
were countless sleepless weeks and it
99% what we wished to have.
