YOUNG CHRONICLE

SAY NO!
You kiss your family
Your siblings, grandparents,
Your Mom and Dad
But if a stranger asks for a kiss,
Say NO, because that’s bad.
You hug and cuddle your dolls and toys
And even your pet cat or dog
But if someone you don’t know
Tries to hug or cuddle you,
Say NO, because it’s wrong.
With your Grandma and Grandpa,
Should the Clean India Drive Last Only a
Day?
On October 2nd, Prime Minister Modi got on the
streets, to launch the Clean India Campaign,
telling everyone about the importance of
cleanliness. But should the drive last only a day?
Should only the government be responsible for
cleaning our mess? Are we not responsible for the
mess we create?
You hold hands
As you walk, jump and prance.
But if a stranger tries to grasp your hand,
Say NO and take a stand.
Starting from our rooms, our playgrounds, our
classrooms, our schools, to the area around our
homes and schools, we must ensure they are clean
at all times. If each one cleans their compounds,
the entire country will get clean.
So, if you don’t like someone’s behaviour or
touch,
Don’t take fright.
Instead tell your teacher, Mom or
Dad.
NO!
It’s time, you lead a team of children and
spend a day every two months, in
cleaning the area around your home
and school.
3
Just say NO, because that is right!
Moreover, should you see any
adult throwing garbage on the
street, or anywhere outside a
dustbin, you must stop him
or her and tell him the
importance of cleanliness.
If you plan to start a
cleanliness drive with your
friends, let us know and we
will share your story in the
next issue of this paper. You
will also win cool AchaBacha
and AchiBachi badges.
