What Does NASA Do?
NASA (National Aeronautics and Space
Administration. NASA) sends astronauts to space, to
conduct scientific research. Satellites help
scientists learn more about Earth.
NASA conducts Space probes to
study the solar system, and
beyond.

NASA is also beginning a
new program to send
humans to explore
asteroids, Mars and
beyond. NASA also has
satellites that orbit the Earth
and map weather conditions
and many other aspects of the
Earth. The famous Hubble Telescope is also part of
NASA. In addition to these major missions, NASA does
many other things. The agency shares what it learns, so
that its information can make life better for people all
over the world.
