How do fresh supplies reach international space stations?
Well, astronauts who live on international space stations get their supplies
via rockets. These rockets are docked to the space station and supplies
like emergency first aid kits, food etc. are supplied.
You must be wondering how water is supplied. Well, this time a rocket was
launched in Japan recently, carrying parts of a water purifier. Astronauts
basically purify their pee, such that it removes all impurities and serves as
water.

Sri Lanka’s Elections
How many of you know of Sri Lanka’s elections? Well, elections were held in Sri
Lanka recently, and Ranil Wickremsinghe from the United National Party is expected to be sworn in again to form a new government shortly.
The fight was against United People’s Freedom Alliance’s Mahinda Rajapakse’s 10
year rule.
Wickremsinghe wants the country’s Buddhist, Tamil, and Muslim population to
unite. It is said that this year’s election was the most peaceful one in Sri Lanka’s history.
Let’s hope that after the civil war that ended in 2009, Sri Lanka never sees violence
again.
