Chacha Nehru was very fond of children. He often
compared children to Roses, saying that ‘children
were like the buds in a garden’. He felt that children
should be carefully and lovingly brought up, as they
were the future of the nation and the citizens of
tomorrow. He believed that children are the real
strength of a country and the very foundation of
society.

It’s now between Vishwanathan Anand and Magnus
Carlson of Norway. The two have currently on equal
footing; with two drawn matches and one win each.
There are 8 matches left and the one who gets 61/2- 7
wins, out of a total of 12 matches, will be declared the
World Chess Champion.
Anand has been the World Chess Champion 5 times (in
2000, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012), and we have our fingers
crossed for this year too.
