And the Earthquake Strikes Again in Nepal
Nepal was struck by
another earthquake
this Tuesday on 12
May, 2015. Until now,
65 people have reportedly died and 1,962
people have been injured due to the earthquake Measuring 7.3
on the Richter Scale. A
second tremor measuring 6.3 hit Nepal again
just after 30 minutes of
the first quake.
The tremors were also
felt in parts of Northern
India, Bihar, Patna,
Siliguri, West Bengal,
Uttar Pradesh and Assam, causing panic and
damage, leading to the
death of at least 80
people.
A US Marine Corps helicopter
was reported missing near
Charikot, with eight on
board. The quake has caused
severe landslides. Furthermore, some experts are now
pointing to chances of increased landslides in the upcoming monsoon season.

Nepal has lost too many lives due to the
earthquake; and the world is crying because
of this news.

More than 8,000 people have died and 16,000
people injured since the first quake. Several
temples including Kasthamandap, Panchtale
temple, The nine storied Basantapur Durbar,The Dasa Avtar temple and Krishna
Mandir have been destroyed by the earthquake.
1,60,786 houses are destroyed in Nepal and people
have became homeless. Most
of the people are suffering
due to lack of food and clean
drinking water, others complain about the shortage of
tents. With damages to both
homes and toilets, people
are defecating in the open.
The problems have not ceased, they have only increased after the devastation. Nepal now
faces a major water and health crisis. Locals
have been suffering from diarrhea, stomact
cramps, and other diseases in Dukuchap village in Latipur area and other areas of Nepal,
which have the potential to turn into epidemics soon.
Drug companies that want to support aid efforts to Nepal should donate cash rather

fact India has also deployed the Army and the Airforce, the Disaster Management Cell and Rss troups
for relief.
