GOD DOESN’T WANT WAR, HE WANT’S PEACE AMONGST ALL RELIGEONS
No god wants devotees to fight amongst each other, and if they cannot worship god peacefully, then the
temple should remain shut down, said the bench consisting of Chief Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and
Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana in Madras high court on Monday. The bench refused to order the
unsealing of a temple in the Kancheepuram district.
This order was observed during the hearing of a PIL filed by E. Saman of Aalathur village in
Kancheepuram district, requesting the temple to be unsealed. Saman said the village had two
Gangaiyamman temples, and revenue authorities sealed a temple located on a poramboke land. The move
followed complaints from a section of villagers who worshipped at the other Gangaiyamman temple, as
those for the sealed temple were visiting the other temple too.
Strange are the ways of worshippers and religion. Rambo and Pranks parents have clearly told them that
worship is important but it should not lead to discrimination. They say that there should be love, peace and
unity irrespective of the religion or form of worship, of a person; and people should accommodate and be
tolerant towards each other.
