Eight teams vying for the top - the defending champion in the eighth season of
Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings has secured top position with
14 points. Securing the top position, Rajasthan Royals has been playing it
equally hard-hitting with 14 points.
Kolkata Knight Riders, the champions of the seventh season, are just a little
behind with 13 points occupying the third position in the chart. The Royal
Challengers Bangalore is in the fourth position scoring 11 points.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians have scored 10 points. Obtaining the second last position in the chart are the Delhi Daredevils with 8 points
in the chart and last but not the least is Kings X1 Punjab with 4 points.
Top in the score list is Ajinkya Rahane from Rajasthan Royals with 438 runs, followed by David Warner from Sunrisers Hyderabad counting 382 runs. Chris
Gayle of Royal Challengers Bangalore has hit the highest number of sixes in this
season, with 29 to his name and Andre Russell of Kolkata Knight Riders with
the highest strike rate of 190.32.
As the battle gets tougher, the fans eagerly wait to see their favorite teams
play in the finals to be held on May 24, 2015.
