My Favourite Hobby During The Summer Vacations: By Dyuti Chakraborty

Hobby is an activity which we do at leisure for pleasure.
Summer holidays are a time to relax and break away from
the daily routine.

My favourite hobby is reading and during the summer holidays I get more time to read different books as it is not possible to do outdoor activities due to the hot weather. I like to
read all types of books, whether it is on adventure or on science fiction or a fairy tale or one on mythology. The books
that I have read during this vacation are : Aesop’s Fables,
The Mystery of the Tally Ho Cottage by Enid Blyton, Abol
Tabol by Sukumar Roy and Around the World in 80 Days by
Jules Verne. Reading helps me to gather information on adventurous events, scientific facts, mythological characters as
well as past events and various kings and queens. As this is
a very good pastime, I will continue to follow this hobby of
mine in the future also.
