Checkmate!
In a bid to give Chess a boost and make it a popular sport, former World Chess
Champion Garry Kasparov has brought together nine of the top grandmasters to be
part of the Grand Chess Tour.
This tournament aims at providing more opportunities for the world’s best chess
players to compete on a grand stage.
The tour will start in June, with Norway Chess 2015, followed by the Sinquefield
Cup in August/September, and finishing with the London Chess Classic in December.
The participating players are:

Gursimran "Sim" Bhullar (born December
2, 1992) is a Canadian professional basketball player of Indian Origin, who
last played for the Sacramento Kings of
the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Before being selected for the NBA he
played college basketball for New Mexico
State University. Being 7'5", he is also the
sixth-tallest player in NBA history.
