Garbage Garbage Everywhere, Delhi is Full of Stink
East Delhi had literally
become a garbage
dump for a few days
last week. This is because of the Delhi government had not given
money to the municipal
corporations, to pay salaries to the safai karamcharis for 3 months.
Since the workers had
not been paid salaries,
they decided to go on a
strike and dump garbage on the roads.
What is sad is that, the government doesn’t care for the poor, and te cleanliness of the city.
People are now confused, “Was the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’ a joke? Was the Aap Jhaadu a
gimmick?”.
