THE YOUNG CHRONICLE
Mickey’s Day Out in India
So Cool! India got featured
in a Mickey Mouse Video!
Just love it.
The Brain’s GPS!
Did you know that the Brain has an in built GPS
system? It is this system that tells you where you are
and remembers if you have been to the place before.
It is this that quickly recalls the path and helps you
find your way.
In fact, the discovery of this system led May-Britt
Moser, Edvard Moser and Late John O’ Keefe to win
the nobel prize.
Is India only about cows
and dirt roads and pink
elephants… or was it
Ganesha… and lotuses?
You read about the Nobel prize in a previous edition,
didn’t you?
Well, Mrs. and Mr. Moser, along with John O’ Keefe
discovered the place cells and grid cells in the brain.
It is these cells that make it possible to know the
position of a person and to navigate.
Did you like the video? Or did
you dislike it? Tell us what you think, in the box below.
Looks like girls don’t have
these cells only. They keep
losing their way!
Haha! Very funny! Who got
you home from the park,
the other day when you got
scared of the dark?
