How Did Santa Claus Come About
Santa Claus’s actual name is St. Nicholas. He is believed to live in Lapland,
in the Noth Pole. As stories go, St. Nicholas was a Saint who loved giving
gifts to the poor. In earlier days, he was said to wear a Green Robe. You can
see his portrait from the 13th century in the picture on the left (we are in the
21st century now).
The Santa we now know, looks like the one in the picture below.
