frequency. This quarter was filled with excitement as a
few things occurred. Jason Cadee once again put the
team on his back scoring 12 points in around 3 minutes to
compliment the effort that team showed on the defensive
end. Aaron Anderson was also great this quarter, coming
up with assists, rebounds and scores nearly at will. Lastly,
the presence of our captain, Zac Carter really changed the
flow of the game as he steadied our team on the defensive
end and offensively presented himself as both a threat
on the boards and on the 3-point line with his supreme
shooting ability. With all of these contributions we finished
the half leading 54-39 over Phoenix.
The second half was a continuation of the first, where a
multitude of players had honourable mentions. Jacob
Wilson continued his great shooting night, scoring in a
multitude of ways both inside and out, finishing the game
with 20 points. Anthony Kopcikas and Tim Soong both
played outstanding defence and finished the game scoring
double digits. Finally, our back court once again showed
why their one of the best in the league, with Aaron putting
up 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assist while Jason Cadee
put up 27 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds.
Overall this was a team win, where everyone played their
role and this helped us continue our undefeated run. The
real test will be this week-end as we face a hot and talented
Townsville side on our home floor this Sunday.
