I think that COVID19 has affected positively the environment because
there is less pollution and when people stay at home, animals can
restart to live in their natural habitat.
In the picture below you can see Venice (in Italy) in April 2020. A few
years ago the swan used to swim in the canals ,but because of
tourism they emigrated to lakes. Since everyone is at home now, they
went back to their natural habitat. SpPDS DanielaCP
I think this coronavirus pandemic is helping the environment in many
different ways.
Not being able to leave the house the transport by cars, boats, planes
... It has decreased significantly and that helped the skies and waters
to be more clean. In addition, noise pollution has decreased, as
people are home there are not as many noisy sounds as the claxon of
cars.
Also, the closure of most of the polluting factories has improved the
air quality of nitrogen or dioxide, these gases that are creating the
greenhouse effect.
In summary, this quarantine is helping the environment since not as
much waste has been dumped or gases have been sent to the
