Integrating Accessibility into Hospitality Interior Design
Accessibility and exceptional interior design should go hand in hand, particularly in hospitality environments where functionality and aesthetics are equally important. Bradley Culmer, Business Development Director at Fitzroy of London, believes accessible bathroom fittings should be considered from the outset of a project, rather than added once the wider design scheme is established.
By specifying grab rails, support rails and shower seats alongside other fixtures, finishes and materials, designers can create cohesive, inclusive washrooms without compromising their creative vision. Coordinating finishes and carefully considering product placement helps accessible fittings complement the overall interior while maintaining usability, safety and compliance.
Early collaboration between designers, clients and manufacturers is key to achieving this balance. With accessibility integrated into the initial design brief, hospitality spaces can deliver both visual consistency and practical functionality, creating welcoming environments that work for everyone.
Making Interiors smell as good as they look
Have you ever entered a space and instantly felt at home, or quite the opposite, uncomfortable or anxious?
The reason why is not always an evidence, be it the colours, the lighting, the furniture or perish the thought … the SMELL! A badly aligned interior may have you longing for more or running for the door.
Aromatise Fragrance Diffusion Technology believe in the art of aligning those senses, with the help of the often-forgotten sense of smell.
With premium perfumes and state of the art fragrance diffusion technology, we will assist you in designing the olfactive completion of any living space.
