A modern urban sanctuary inspired by poetic heritage Reflecting MGallery Collection’ s philosophy, where every hotel is rooted in a meaningful story, destination and spirit, Financial City Chengdu – MGallery Collection brings the cultural character of Chengdu into a contemporary urban setting. Designed by the acclaimed Australian design firm Stack Studio, the hotel’ s aesthetic is inspired by the poetic imagery of Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Ji’ s famous Song of Chengdu, evoking the whimsical beauty of“ wandering into a hidden lychee grove.”
The story begins on arrival, beneath the branches of a century-old local lychee tree. Rooted in the ground floor, it becomes a living introduction to the hotel’ s central idea: Chengdu’ s natural beauty is never far from its cultural soul. Seven floors above, Sky Garden continues this journey upwards: a lush rooftop garden where greenery, open air and the changing light of Chengdu create a quiet pause above the city. This meaningful dialogue of“ rooted in the earth, reaching for the sky” captures the gentle mist of the Jinjiang River and the cultural spirit of Sichuan, rendering every stay a memorable chapter in a guest’ s travel story.
Sophisticated accommodations and curated living Set within Chengdu’ s established southern business and lifestyle district, the hotel offers 155 guestrooms and suites, intentionally designed to reflect the character of the city. Continuing the overall design narrative, the guestrooms translate the beauty of river mists, mountain fogs, and crimson sunsets into contemporary living spaces. Designed to satisfy both high-powered business travelers and leisure seekers,
