DRU Recognises Global Hospitality Talent with Presentation of Interior Designer of the Year Award

DRU, one of Europe’ s leading fireplace manufacturers, sponsored the Interior Designer of the Year award at the Hospitality Interiors Sustainability in Design Awards at the BAFTA HQ, London on March 26, 2026.
The winner of this inaugural award was Clint Nagata, founder and creative partner of BLINK Design Group, an international consultancy specialising in hospitality projects. The company is based in Thailand and has recently opened a new London office to take advantage of the growing opportunities in UK hotel design.
Clint is recognised for an approach to interior design that combines luxury with deeply considered sitespecific sustainability. His collaborative process prioritises passive design strategies such as crossventilation and climate protection, while championing authentic, locally sourced materials that reflect cultural heritage and are verified through close relationships and knowledge of local craft and supply.
DRU was founded in the Netherlands in 1754. It has always endeavoured to produce appliances that combine design excellence with sustainable product development and energy efficiency. It manufactures gas, wood, electric and bioethanol fires and stoves under three distinct brands, with a distribution network across the whole of Europe and beyond.
DRU has recently diversified into the hospitality sphere and has developed successful partnerships with hotels, restaurants, wellness settings and other leisure locations, supported by its strong UK dealer network.
