This revolutionary new collection uses reclaimed scrap leather previously destined for landfill , alongside 100 % natural resins , PEFC-certified wood fibres , and a durable cork backing which removes the need for added underlay . Using biodegradable ink and unique advanced technology , hyper-realistic scans of real wood floors are printed onto the leather layer , perfectly replicating the originals ’ natural beauty . Each board is finished with a coating of Karta Plated ®, a durable , specially-developed AC5-rated barrier solution , which delivers a super-matte finish as well as guaranteeing a 10 year warranty .
The result is a reproduction floor with unparalleled authenticity , and with no repeated designs in 20 boards , Karta ’ s floors are virtually indistinguishable from the original product .

With this new collection , Karta provides a responsible alternative to single-use plastic vinyl and LVT flooring , delivering low VOC emissions and completely SVOCfree floors . Available in 18 stunning colours drawn from highdefinition scans of Ted Todd ’ s floors , this new series offers wide planks measuring 1850mm x 200mm x 9mm , beautifully replicating the original natural French oak , old brown English oak , and reclaimed oak boards .
