Biblioteket Live covers 1500sqm on three levels with four bars and an inner courtyard where there is a live stage for performances and events . The Cocktail Bar and restaurant are integrated in the historic and landmarked former library section in the building complex Medborgarhuset , Stockholm , which was inaugurated in 1930 . The Cocktail Bar creates a playful inviting meeting place that flirts with both the past and the future .
The former library was successfully converted into a bar and restaurant inspired from both a folk-based functional style , Art Deco and Swedish neofunctionalism . Behind the bar stands Europe ’ s tallest free standing bespoke 5,9m Wine Display .
