On June 1st 2023 , Zitya officially opened its doors for the summer season of 2023 . Situated a short drive from Ibiza Town on the way to Saint Josep , this Patio . Bar-Finca , designed by PINTO , serves a blend of Mediterranean and Aegean cuisine . The venue offers a total of 120 covers , thoughtfully arranged across a harmonious fusion of indoor and outdoor spaces . Guests can enjoy the inviting Patio area , the vibrant outdoor Bar & Lounge area , and the cosy traditional Finca setup indoors .
The restaurant ’ s name comes from a tree found on the Greek island of Rhodes , in the idyllic valley of butterflies . The Zitya tree secretes a sweet substance that attracts thousands of the nocturnal , Jersey Tiger butterfly . A spectacular phenomenon which occurs very rarely , creating spectacular visual patterns . Zitya draws its inspiration from the region ’ s enchanting nature and nostalgia , and the magnetic energy that binds both islands , Rhodes and Ibiza .
