sizable boxes and each one had to be painstakingly built from the hook plate to the final delicate drop . Each chandelier took between four to six hours to complete .

WFC and our sub-contractors provided 24-hour site working hours in the weeks leading up to handover as part of agreed acceleration works . After handover , a full M & E team was on standby during the first few live services .
Working in such close proximity to the River Thames , we were highly conscious of environmental agency requirements throughout and followed guidelines to the nth degree . In addition , we worked with Thames Water to install a new water mains connection , again adhering to stringent requirements . The building is in an area of ‘ protected view ’, so the outside of the building and surrounding greenery had to be protected during the works .
Regarding the nuts and bolts , before the transformation could start , the two-phase project included major enabling works before fitout . These works comprised a range of structural alterations , demolition , steel mezzanine external plant deck , steel mezzanine kitchen , full tanking system in the basement ( critical as the property is so close to the Thames ), new staircase , below ground drainage alterations and screed infills .
Based on the success of this project , WFC is now working on the new Sexy Fish Restaurant in Manchester .
