San Carlo Restaurant Group To Open Cicchetti Knightsbridge In April 2022

Multi-award-winning restaurant group San Carlo will bring its critically-acclaimed concept Cicchetti to Knightsbridge in April 2022 . The latest in a series of growth moves for the family-owned group , the new opening will be the 25th restaurant for the group , the third Cicchetti in London , and follows the critical success of the brand in Piccadilly and Covent Garden , and the recent opening of Isola in St Christopher ’ s Place last month .
Open seven days a week and offering contemporary Italian dining , the menu – as the name suggests – will offer an elevated and refined take on cicchetti , the authentic Italian plates typically served in traditional b cari ( informal bars ) in Venice .
Designed to be shared , dishes showcase the freshest seasonal ingredients , mostly sourced straight from Italy . Alongside a selection of new signature plates unique to Cicchetti in Knightsbridge , the menu will a range of fresh pasta – such as the much-loved truffle ravioli served at Cicchetti Piccadilly and Covent Garden – and pizza , fish and meat-focused carne plates . A wide selection of Italian wines , prosecco , spirits and cocktails will also be available .
Located on Hans Road , adjacent to Harrods , and spread across two storeys , the 286 metre- space will feature a 100-cover dining room , a private dining room seating 18 , and a standalone bar . The interiors , by London and LA design studio Fettle , will be inspired by classical Venetian architecture and the work of some of the city ’ s most influential residents such as Carlo Scarpa . Expect considered finishes , traditional materials and quirky touches to evoke the water taxis and luxury yachts synonymous with the region .
