Inox Technical Lighting designed and supplied all the architectural lighting for the newly opened Four Degree restaurant at St George ’ s Wharf , London .
The restaurant has several zones , each requiring a different lighting solution . The main eating area is a galleried double-height space with open ceilings , where suspended track lighting is used to direct light onto the tables . The track is in slender lighting profiles , incorporating random white and colour-changing lit sections . The profiles are installed at various heights and orientations to create an interesting look that works with the exposed services .
Other areas include VIP rooms , a private whiskey bar , seafood bar and art gallery . The VIP rooms include colour-changing lighting concealed in ceiling coffers and surface-mounted downlights . The gallery has a mix of track-mounted display projectors and colourchanging linear elements built into slim profiles . All lighting is controlled by a Mode Evolution and eDin dimming system .
