Colliers International appointed to sell three high-profile hotels across the UK for Shearings Leisure Group

Global real estate advisor, Colliers International, has been appointed to sell three hotels in the north of England and Scotland, on behalf of Shearings Leisure Group, a leading operator of escorted tours and leisure hotels.
Paul Barrasford, a director in the Hotels Agency team at Colliers International, commented:“ Although part of a larger group, each hotel is an established and successful business in its own right, in particular, due to recent and major refurbishment programmes, increased private leisure and the popularity of these hotels amongst local clientele for a wide array of corporate and private events. From both an operational and property perspective, there are exciting value add opportunities at each property.”
The following freehold properties are available on an individual or cluster basis:
Strathmore Hotel, Morecambe Situated on the main promenade, the 47-bedroom property features a bar, which seats 80 customers and has views across the bay. There is also a restaurant and substantial conference suite with capacity for up to 150.
The property agents are seeking offers in the region of £ 1.3 million.
