Moduleo Design Floors
Moduleo is set to increase its product portfolio considerably in 2018 with the launch of many new designs. Building on the successful release of new Impress lines in 2017, Moduleo, which is part of the IVC Group, will launch new decors across its Transform and Select ranges, including new concretes, grey oaks and a selection of patterned tiles.
The most noteworthy include Terrazzo and Cementine style tiles, bringing these classically Italian and artisan styles into luxury vinyl flooring. The combination of historical inspiration and state-of-the-art technology has enabled Moduleo to create modern floorcoverings with scratch- and stain-resistant properties, as well as an enhanced bevelled edge and embossed structure.

In the world of hospitality, presentation is of paramount importance. An attractive exterior speaks volumes about a property, but as a new flagship Holiday Inn property in Manchester discovered, keeping up appearances can provide unexpected challenges.
The ground floor of the stylish new property benefits from an almost exclusively glass frontage, providing a sleek and contemporary appearance while also delivering an abundance of natural light for those inside. However, the large panes were regularly being chipped or cracked by stones kicked up by passing traffic, necessitating expensive replacement glazing.
The Window Film Company was able to recommend and subsequently install specialist impact resistant window film, an optically clear protective layer that provides an effective and long lasting barrier without affecting the appearance of the glazing. Once installed, the film was effective immediately, subsequently ensuring that none of the 22 panes, each over 3 metres high, was at risk of damage.
